Bringing the Color Indoors

Well, autumn is finally on it way. With welcomed anticipation, I might add! This is the time of year we turn our focus inwards, to our home. After months in the outdoors we are all getting ready to nestle in for the cooler weather to come.

Its time to start thinking of those beautiful autumn colors. With the blending of pumpkins, autumn leaves, wheat and dried stalks of corn into your dcor, your home can become a warm, cozy refuse.

Orange isnt your favorite? Try golds, plums, greens and browns. They compliment almost any color scheme.

Here are a few quick, simple tips to decorate your home for Fall:

Hang a grapevine wreath filled with fall leaves, small pumpkins, dried berries and raffia or ribbon on your front door to welcome you home. Purchase or create your on centerpiece and place it on the dining table along with a colorful table runner. A soft cozy throw thrown over the arm of the sofa invites you to curl up and sit awhile. Change out your sofa pillows with a warm fall color that compliments your dcor. A fall garland, some mini pumpkins and candles can dress up any fireplace mantel.

Autumn is such a beautiful time of year. With just a few changes your home can reflect the beauty of this colorful season.
